June Highlights
Together at the Zoo!
Our homes in Wigan and Leyland got together to spend some time at the Zoo. As you can see, we had a wonderful time. Spending time with friends, observing the marvelous designs in creation and enjoying some delicious ice cream - it was a great day.
Garden in Full Bloom
Our garden in full bloom. Gardening is a therapeutic activity that makes us feel closer to creation. Especially in the elderly, it gives them a measure of control and accomplishment to see plants grow and bloom. It makes an excellent backdrop for garden parties too!
Sunshine and Flowers
🌞🌼 Now that makes us very happy indeed!
Concerts
What a treat to have the Swansea singers perform live at the home! These wonderful volunteers never let up their giving spirit even during the pandemic and hosted marvelous concerts that kept us going during those times. To have them in person again is such a joy. We haven't forgotten all of you loyal friends who supported us too.
We had the “Dance To the Music” Concert on July 2nd. Stay tuned for more on that and all that we will be doing in July. If you haven’t subscribed to our e-mails yet, you can sign up here
