Job Title: Carer
Job Overview:
Assisting residents with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, and eating.
Observing and reporting the physical and emotional well-being of residents and helping supervisors with care plans.
Light housekeeping like changing bed linens etc.
Accompanying residents to medical appointments if necessary.
Encouraging and helping residents to participate in spiritual and social activities.
Other tasks that might be required in the care regime of residents.
Location:
We have a need in the Wigan, Merthyr, Blackpool, and Leyland Homes. Please mention which home you would like to apply for in your application.
Working Hours:
Full-time as well as part-time positions with different shifts are available.
You can cover 1 or more shifts to suit you any day.
For anyone willing to do 30 hours on shift (3 nights), and then be willing to cover at least one other daytime or night shift on the rota per week, there is an extra living allowance payment to help with local housing costs.
Qualifications:
Experience in care and/or a Care certificate NVQ2 in Care would be good but it is not essential as all training will be given as necessary.
