Blackpool, Lancashire

The backdrop for our first home, and the setting for Jah-Jireh’s beginnings, Jah-Jireh in Blackpool has a rich history of caring for our dear brothers and sisters.

The highlight of our Blackpool home is the charming and cheerful garden, which has been the setting for many a garden party and activities in the summer. The residents enjoy the comfort of the townhouse, which can care for up to 34 of our brothers and sisters.

A Bit of History

In 1985, a faithful pioneer sister Ida Eccles, who had devotedly cared for her parents and husband until their deaths, needed caring for. The need to provide for this lovely elderly sister was the beginning of the Jah-Jireh story. The Blackpool home kept expanding from there to house many more of these wonderful loyal brothers and sisters. You can read more of the history of our Blackpool Home in our newsletter.
