Set in an acre of grounds, our home at Leyland was formerly a derelict property comprising of a main building with attached stables. We bought this property in 1991 and renovated the main building to care for 14 residents. In 1994, work was started to demolish the existing outbuildings and foundations were laid for an extension that would allow us to care for another 22 residents. The work was completed in 1995 so that the extension is in keeping with the style of the original property. It is a very traditional building and the dining room is a hive of activity being utilised for magazine study and also provides access to the park-like gardens with sheltered sitting areas and a summer house for entertaining visitors. There are various sitting areas and lounges within the home and a small quiet library. We have an excellent team of carers, 40% of which have been working with us for more than 5 years.

Winne and Mary used to work on first aid together at conventions years ago. They hadn't seen each other in ages and were reunited when Winnie came to Leyland for some respite care. They had a great catch up!
Great afternoon of music and dancing.
